What is the event all about?
A 2-day online art and design symposium which will feature seminars, demonstrations, workshops, panel talks by bringing together some of India’s beloved artists and art professionals to benefit a Scholarship Fund. The idea is to create an atmosphere of art that encompasses the pillars of Community, Learning, Support, Collaboration and Creative Expression.
When will it happen?
February 20th (Saturday) and 21st (Sunday) 2021 • 10 am to 7 pm with a 1 hour lunch break in between.
Who is organising this?
Art Lounge is an omni-channel art, design and hobby supply store located in Kala Ghoda Mumbai and online. Their goal is to educate and support artists by sourcing quality art supply brands from around the world, hosting workshops by top artists and supporting the community at large.
Rad Art Media- A Creative Escape, is a digital agency for the fine art community that holds expertise in event curation, artist management, art consultancy and counseling. Through an online and offline mode, it has hosted several workshops and exhibitions, art talks, programmes and managed various artists' profiles. Their goal has always been to bring an engaging audience and deliver an experience they can cherish forever.
Why are we doing this?
Through ticket sales for this event and through independent donors, we hope to raise a Scholarship for multiple in-need art students attending JJ School of Art at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. With 2020 being a difficult year financially, this could go a long way to boost their morale and creative spirit.
How do we plan to achieve our goal?
Tickets to the event will be sold at Rs1499 (2 days) or at Rs 999 (1 day) with a 10 day early bird discounted rate of 10% for the same. We are hoping that participants will see value in paying for multiple informative seminars, demos, workshops and panel talks which usually would cost over Rs 6000. We are confident that many will donate to contribute to a worthy cause as well.
