I am a 12th std. student and I am going to pursue Fashion designing as a career. When I was in school, I once saw my Science teacher draw a human body figure during one of our classes which I replicated in my note book and started adding on various clothes on it. I got hooked on to it and that is how I slowly began designing. The process of seeing a design on paper being turned into a wearable piece of art is something I find very fascinating. I thoroughly enjoy sketching and painting everything related to the world of fashion.

Artists of India Feature #23 - Niharika Rajput
I am a Wildlife Artist specializing in intricate paper and epoxy sculptures of Birds and animals. Each piece is carefully handcrafted to perfection. I start by sketching out all the body parts, wings, tail feathers and body feathers. Thereafter with each one is retraced on paper and cut to precision. These feathers are glued to the body which could be made out paper and wire or epoxy in the miniature versions. Then comes my favourite part, painting the birds realistically.

I am Madhu Gawli and I have just cleared my 10th board exams. I started getting interested in art and craft when I first saw my brother painting. He was very good in art and used to get a lot of praise from my parents and relatives. I also started doing the same but I did not know I was good at drawing until my Art teacher in school told me that I am her favorite student and that she loves my work. Since then, I have been trying various painting styles with My Mentor, Winnie didi who is very creative and encourages me to practice and keep trying new art ideas. We have made plenty of Best Out of Waste creations together. I really like Galaxy paintings which I first made with Winnie didi and since then I am trying my hand at various versions of this painting style.
